Adams County Human Services was recently awarded a state grant to start a Medicaid Advisory Council. Adams County Human Services, along with other Human Services offices across the state, will pilot the ambassador program at the county level. We’re recruiting 5-10 Medicaid recipients who will help identify what community members do and do not understand about Medicaid’s eligibility stipulations, application processes, reporting requirements, and notices to improve basic messaging and communication around the program.
The advisory council is set to meet once a month with the first meeting happening on Tuesday, Oct. 16, 10 a.m.-noon, at the Adams County Human Services Center, 11860 N. Pecos St., Westminster. Childcare and breakfast will be provided. Learn more and sign up by calling 720.523.2347 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
